Hello, and welcome to busdog.com. Here is how it all works.
A bus leaves Carbondale on 35 different Fridays each year. 2:15pm from Thompson Point, 2:30pm from Lot 45 between the Towers and the Rec Center. The bus arrives in Monee (transfer for some passengers) The Chicago Direct arrives 7:45pm, at the inter-modal station at 95th and Dan Ryan by 8:30pm, Union Station 9:00pm.
For NW Express passengers: Elmhurst Metra Station by 8:30pm and the Woodfield Mall by 9:00pm.
On the following Sunday or on the day that ends an extended weekend or holiday, the same buses depart the Woodfield Mall and Union Station by 4:00pm return to the drop-off points to pick up the passengers left on the previous Friday and continues to Carbondale, IL. The arrival time in Carbondale is approximately 10:45pm.
